I have been a fan of Doraemon and I was elated to see McDonald selling the Zodiac Lucky Charm. So, I have been eating McDonalds dutifully every Thursday to collect the lucky charms. This week is the release of the last 3 lucky charms and I have finally collected the 12 Doraemon Lucky Charm! However, it is not complete, little piggy is missing. McDonald removed it from the collection due to sensitive issues.
Yesterday, I went to McDonald website http://www.mcdonalds.com.sg/doraemon/ and I saw a poll to bring little piggy from the zodiac sign to Singapore. So, I happily did the poll to bring the little piggy back. And the best part is, I saw from news that McDonald will bring the pig charm to Singapore in April! (http://news.asiaone.com/News/AsiaOne%2BNews/Singapore/Story/A1Story20100122-193686.html) Hurray! Anyway, it is just a toy, people who are sensitive to the toy can choose Not to buy, there is no need to remove it from the collection right? It is not as if they are selling pork cutlet in their restaurants. No need to make such a big fuss over a small cute toy! But nonetheless, I am glad that the piggy is going to be on sale!
