Recently, this word ‘Sloth’ has been crossing my mind. To me, i thought that sloth is just a word to describe a loafer; someone who is lazy and does nothing all day long. However, after talking to Rudy about sloths, he told me that a sloth is an animal! (I didn’t know that! Ok, my general knowledge is poor…)
So, I went to research on this animal and realised that sloths are extremely slow-moving mammals found in the rainforest canopies of Central and South America. They are about the size of a dog and have short and flat heads. They move so slowly that tiny camouflaging algae grow all over their coat! (That is Disgusting!)
Why did I think about sloth? That was because I was slogging my way through, working so blardy hard for my practicum for the past 2 months. My weekends were all burned with work. Then I begin to wonder why there are people out there who can behave like a sloth and lead a better life than anyone else! So I got super pissed off and I started to complain. Well I guess the only explanation that I can find is that life is not fair at all. 同人不同命. I even thought of being a sloth. But I guess better not, sloths will be detested by everyone. I will rather be a hardworking dog who works till I drop. Hahaha…
PS: I am 9 days away to the end of the practicum!
